Mark Cavendish to start Right To Play and BUCS cycle challenge!

Why not join him on the start line?

Mark Cavendish, the fastest road sprinter in the world and fresh from a very successful Giro D’Italia, confirmed his support of Right To Play’s and BUCS's Edinburgh to London cycle ride this August 18th-23rd.

Mark will be in Edinburgh to start the event - to find out more details about how you can join him on the starting line and take part in what will be a truly fantastic challenge click here. In addition, all registrants to the event will be entered into a draw to win a morning’s cycle workshop for 5 with Mark later in the year.

Numbers on this event are strictly limited to 200 and registration closes on July 15th or when all places are filled. Right To Play are extremely grateful to Mark and Team Columbia for their support and wishes them both the very best of luck in the Tour De France.

Right To Play Celebrity Sports Day

This year, Right To Play and Chelsea F.C. have designed an exclusive event with a difference. On Saturday 11th July, we are inviting families to meet sporting celebrities in an action packed day of learning and fun.

Guests will have the chance to play football with the Chelsea 1st Team and other sporting greats; learn from Right To Play’s fantastic coaches from around the world, participate in an exciting scavenger hunt, win a host of luxurious prizes and enjoy a sumptuous barbecue, fairground snacks, drinks and musical entertainment in aid of an incredible cause.

Glory for Atos, EFG and Moelis & Co. in the Right To Play World Cup!

EFG and CVC Capital battle for the ball

The stage was set for glory at Stamford Bridge on Friday 22nd May as twenty teams battled for the title of Right To Play World Champion.

A great time was had by all, with goals, heroics and teamwork the order of the day. Rising through the ranks, Atos Origin, EFG and Moelis & Co saw off tough opposition to be crowned champions of their respective competitions. For more information on results and the day itself, please click here.

Overall, the World Cup raised over £80,000 for Right To Play programmes worldwide. This is a truly incredible sum that will make a huge difference to the lives of vulnerable children across the developing world. The UK team would like to extend their thanks to everyone that took part for making the day such a great success.
